Could Lugwash qualify as a non-profit?

Just a thought in my head that it would be cool to have a
linux/free software booth at the Ann Arbor artfair. I
don't think it would be too out of place with all the
other causes, political parties, churches etc that are
there. Imagine a booth with Linux distros to hand out
maybe even a CD of free software on the Windows platform.
Info, donation jar You all know what I'm talking about.
The big difference between this and other possible venues
that lugwash might get involved in would be that this
would be exposure to (what is it?) a million+ people over
 4 days?
If it could be arranged for next year. I'd sign up to take
 a shift.

What's everybody think?

Cheers,
Jonathan
