Which distro do you run and why?

I work in the EECS department at UM where Debian is
the norm. When I do an install I use Debian because I
don't want to have to keep track of the differences
between distros.

I've recently installed Knoppix on 2 systems and love it
for the ease of installation. It's really just Debian
so it's what I'm used to.

The biggest downside to Debian is the lack of/slowness
of packaging of software. There have been several
times where a package was available in rpm but not
deb.
