The ones I've had (I've been through a few :-() that have _had_ a web
interface (one could be configured only with the Windows software that
came with it) have come preconfigured with a "black hole" fixed address,
that you can change once you can talk to it the first time. It's always
been in the manual. :-) If that's lost there's a fare chance you can
find a pdf copy on the manufacturer's web site.
