We use Zimbra here at Digg with decent success. We have some minor
problems with the connectors (sync Zimbra with your Outlook, iCall,
etc.), but overall it's fine. I only log in when I don't have my
laptop with me and I need to access my email. It's generally fine for
that kind of thing. We have a few people that use the web interface
full time on various different OS's.

I think we pay for the supported version though, which comes with some
extra nice stuff, but the base system works well.
